burble
Eurgh, not at all keen on that. The front end and wheels look pretty hideous.

Mook
Eurgh, not at all keen on that. The front end and wheels look pretty hideous. You muppet. Looks are NOT why you buy a VXR8 The engine is :D
Busby
I haven't seen one in the flesh but am not overly keen on the revised front end from the version 18ME and I had. The word on VXRonline is that it will retail at £49'950 over here. Whilst I appreciate it will the the GTS version from Oz that is imported and there will only be a few of them, I think £50k is stretching things a bit. Mook
Compared to what though? I know it used to be about £35k, but then an M3 was only around £40k and they're a shed load more now.
Busby
They were £35k when the M3 and C63 were just over £50k. Prior to the E90 M3 (when the original 6.0 LS2 VXR8's were being sold) you would have spent another £5k at BMW on extras that the VXR8 either already had or didn't need. That's what made them a bargain - a proper hob nail boot of a car and hell of a lot of fun. Now, with only a couple of grand between them it would be a no brainer for me to buy a C63 if that's the type of car I was looking for.
