eldavo69
Well, I've had my 318d Sport Plus Touring nearly 4 weeks now and have been getting twitchy. The one thing that I didn't like about the cabin was the big swathe of matte black plastic that the cupholders came out of. So, I pulled it off (literally) and wrapped it in 3M Di-Noc carbon vinyl. I'm planning to do the steering wheel trim next and then decide whether I like it or not. I'm sure it will divide opinions but for now I like it, and it's only 5 mins to put it back to original if I don't!

Tipex
Looks alright that, I thought for a moment it would look better if it matched the silver trim, but actually, I'm not sure.

eldavo69
Thanks, I really like it so the headlight surround got the same treatment. Will do the steering wheel insert and then leave it at that. It's pretty straightforward to do. A mate had an E36 M3 with the walnut trim and I carbon wrapped it for him. Some of those trim bits were very tricky!

Too Quick For You
Looks great! I've got the nasty walnut trim so been wanting to do this for ages - was it hard to apply the vinyl & where did you source it?

Bought the vinyl from a local wholesale signwriting distributor but you can get it easy enough on eBay. Plenty of videos on YouTube p the application process too.
