Andy_Bangle
Did no one read the comment I made about them being ex press demo/development cars destined for the crusher? I didn't need to read it as knew that from the pictures I posted, earlier in the tread
Tipex
No, I didn't. That's the problem with moaning, or being known to moan. I go in to scan mode and miss things.. Ha.

m4ttm4son
Was amusing, though JC's P45 was the funniest yellow Ford Transit I've ever seen  (according to his number plate on MyCarCheckApp) Best part was the Bentley rallying, of course. Must take immense skill to sail that round and still have enough capacity to berate James for terrible co-driving.
Andrew
Very funny that P45 bit - especially the petrol. Not the greatest Pagani review but man alive, didn't it shift - it didn't look like a 1:13 lap to me. I wonder how the Acera or new Veyron would do. Or the P12. m4ttm4son
Chris Harris did a better review of the Huyara, Indeed, all the way through Hammond's piece all I was thinking of was how much better Chris Harris' review was.
Tipex
Indeed, all the way through Hammond's piece all I was thinking of was how much better Chris Harris' review was. But the BBC added loads of fancy camera work and effects!
garcon magnifique
The best review of the Hayuyraryayaryara by far is the one in Evo magazine a couple of months back.
patently
Very disappointed they didn't get the Stig to set a time for the P45. Will we ever know it's laptime?

Scotty
It was suggested tonight that the French road works had a effect on the Mustangs progress. Given how often it appeared, I'd suggest it's more likley to be the Range Rover camera car being stuck in front of it 90% of the way. As suggested a diesel German car would have got their quicker due to the lack of fuel stops. Am I missing the point of or even the entertainment value of these "races" ? jimdiesel
Am I missing the point of or even the entertainment value of these "races" ? I actually laughed at the eating a pork pie whilst JC listned to 50 shades of grey. Or maybe thats just me!
garcon magnifique
I was thinking I don't remember seeing the camera car before on these trips. I mean, obviously it was there, but it stayed out of shot. Which made me wonder if it was involved in some later twist in the tale. Alas, no. Maybe they decided it was time to drop some hints to the kind of hard of thinking viewer that thinks these races are real. As ever, entertainment value is a subjective quality that tends only to be recognised by those who were entertained by it. Nice evangelical piece about the GT86/BRZ by Clarkson. Although it'll have gone straight over the heads of many.
Rachel
Nice evangelical piece about the GT86/BRZ by Clarkson. Although it'll have gone straight over the heads of many. I was amazed by James' comment that Toyobaru sales figures were 1x BRZ to every 9x GT86. Might explain why it was only yesterday I saw my first BRZ (in the classic blue of course). Andrew
I enjoyed yesterday - while the race was a bit pointless it was funny and entertaining all the same. How fit is Amy Macdonald?!
Cuprabob
Fers I enjoyed yesterday - while the race was a bit pointless it was funny and entertaining all the same. How fit is Amy Macdonald?! I do like Amy MacDonald, but she prefers footballers. Seen her kicking about a few times when she had the R8 but not seen her 458 yet. m4ttm4son
More importantly, WHO is Amy MacDonald. How can an attractive, female, 25 year old, petrolhead, apparently accomplished(?) musician not be more well known? So many sh1te ones that I've heard of/ can't stay out of the papers. Cuprabob
I am genuinely surprised you''ve never heard of Amy MacDonald. She's been around for nearly 10 years, had a couple of hit singles, released a few albums, the first one being very successful. She was going out with an Aberdeen football player but I'm sure that's all off now and she does like a drink, as MrMe will testify. She's very much Scottish and doesn't court the London scene, as far I can tell.
Cuprabob
I should add she has a very distinctive singing voice that does get annoying at times.
garcon magnifique
She has a large and loyal following, and a fantastic voice. Probably makes most of her money from live shows. Anyone know where she lives? I suddenly fancy moving back to Scotland...

Andrew
I'm a fan of some of her stuff. Why isn't she on here - the best motoring site there is. It would be nice to have someone trump Woppum for the 'best car' award (given the bar is so high the trump vehicle has got to be bloody nice!).
