What would you do?

Collective advice maybe required, I'm a tad ****ed off.

I have another forum that I'm admin of. Whilst away on hols, i comeback to find that another admin, who I've classed as a friend for a long time, has created a hidden sub forum. He's then given access rights to several other friends to see it, bar me.

Now, it's not the fact that i'm left out that i have an issue with, I don't know what it is that they don't want me to be a part of but that's their business. What does really grate is the fact he's used that place to do it, right under my nose, as if it means nothing. He could've phoned, texted, emailed or PMd them but he's done it on the forum that I spent a lot of personal time putting back together. All i did was log into the admin control panel randomly and it was staring me in the face in the admin log. I wasn't 'looking' for anything, i couldn't miss it. So what are you supposed to think when you see a dozen or so names added to the viewing rights but not your own.

I've not said anything, yet, and I left it a while just to see if I was perhaps an oversight. It appears I'm not. It would be childish (and obvious) to give myself rights not to mention an invasion of privacy so i'm not going to do that but I'm still pretty disappointed that somebody i thought was a good friend would do something like this.

Now i know it's the internet and all that and, in the grand scheme of things, it matters about the square root of **** all, but what would you do?

I'm not sure I understand, is it your forum or just one that you are an admin on?

If its yours just chop the forum off and kick them out..

It's not mine per se. It was created in an older form many years ago and the founder lost interest along with many other users.

I managed to make a back up of the db, keeping most of the site and history, convert it and restore to a brand new phpbb3 setup with a few late nights and swearing sessions. I initially paid the domain reg and the hosting fees and now all the regulars have contributed to the fees for the next couple of years. There's only probably a dozen or so of 'us' left that use it regularly.:(

All sorted. I think a slight oversight on his part, as in assuming i'd automatically be able to see it anyway, with an awkward situation as to creating it in the first place. I can understand his reasoning and its not worth losing any sleep (or friendship) over. :)
