M8CKN
Booked to go next week for our honeymoon. Looks lovely and the travel agent said its nice and relaxed and romantic, but wondered if any of you have real experiences rather than sales patter
Andrew
I went in 2005 - it was great. Some decent vistas of sunsets (they go on about it being the best place for them), nice beaches etc. There is the flat side of the island with the beaches, and the steep side with the harbour, sunsets and better restaurants I seem to recall. After that we got a boat to Milos which was another level of relaxed - one of the best places I've ever been I reckon.
eldavo69
I've been to Milo's, it was anything but relaxed - I had to park in his garage while he ranted at someone down the phone!

Calm Chris
I've been to Milo's, it was anything but relaxed - I had to park in his garage while he ranted at someone down the phone! I've had a sub terrain Milo experience and he showed his 'soft' side and gave me a bottle of Newcastle Brown in a pretty bag (only after a gave him the price of a house in Wales). Strangely there weren't loads of empty vodka bottles in the boot. Although I did find a purse, some money, a pencil and a 1st aid kit.
cruiser647
That really does look a lovely place! The cliffs, the white buildings and I think you have beaches on the other side of the island. Home of the Minoans!
