NewNiceMrMe
Or rather their delivery van in the car park of the hotel I'm in tonight.
cruiser647
Did you see anything nice come out of the back of it?
NewNiceMrMe
Nope. The driver is staying in the hotel. If he has anything in the back of it I think they're a very brave company bearing in mind the recent Milltek incident with their car. If someone was to steal or torch that van and there is a new Overfinch in the back, it's going to be a big claim. If I was awaiting a delivery tomorrow morning I wouldn't like the idea of it being parked up in a van in a hotel car park. That said, at least it isn't parked up without being in a van. drpellypo
Miltek incident? I saw a RR at work the other day. Had overfinch badges, body kit, looks the mutts. Even the reg was overfinch, ergo, it spelled out what it was. Checked it on mycarcheck and it was a diesel. Do over finch, er, overfinch diesels? I think probably not. Cuprabob
What happened to that Golf was shocking. There is some real scum about. Police revealed that they are looking for the driver of an Aston Martin DB9 to eliminate them from their enquiries:-) Edited April 14, 2014 by Cuprabob

Unfortunately 99% of overfinches are just body kits, wheels and interior mods these days, it's probably been a couple of decades since they swapped and engine out on a range rover (well for one that wasn't broken !) drpellypo
Ah I didn't know that. My only understanding was from the TG episode where they did loads to the engine and suspension.
Tipex
I would imagine a hotel car park is significantly safer than a deserted industrial estate! Real shame to see that Golf after all the work they'd put in to it, there are some real scum out there sadly, I suspect it'll be the last time they leave anything outside the unit rather than in it though. garcon magnifique
Police revealed that they are looking for the driver of an Aston Martin DB9 to eliminate them from their enquiries:-) Noel Edmunds was unavailable for comment. Overfinch - I seem to remember they effectively went bust and were bought out, and alas the new company only does cosmetics so no more LS2 powered RRs. They did go bust a couple of years ago but were bought out and still trade just south of Leeds, I think Kahn might have have had something to do with the buyout. NewNiceMrMe
Spot on. They're not with Overfinch of old. A friend of mine bought a new Overfinch Discovery last year and it is basically a Disco with cosmetic modifications. It isn't anything to do with Kahn though. It was bought out by Autobrokers who owned the ***** (City that I cannot type) retail (dealer) arm that sold Overfinch cars but weren't directly connected with them. They have concentrated on customising LR and RR's but without technical modifications such as engines, exhausts and suspension. They do much more too. They modify a lot of other cars. When my friend went to 'spec' his there was a Merc SLS and lots of other exotica (mostly owned by footballers) in there for a wide range of chavving up options.
