Great Q3 which gave Lewis a new British record of pole positions with absolutely unbelievable driving from Ricciardo with him outperforming the World Champion, again!

Should be an interesting start tomorrow with Rosberg in the faster car behind Vettel and Ricardo.

Nice to see Williams back near the front, in conditions not suited to their car.

How's that then? there's only been 3 races this season and Williams have had cars finish in the top eight.

Fresh fuel slow sensor failure for Red Bull in China today, RBR's Total fuel causing sensor failures believes FIA.

Great race for Lewis, Nico & Fernando.

Ferrari must be so overjoyed to get a podium, they'll justify it on the magic of the new team lead...

The silver arrows just continue to impress, esp. with Lewis sucking so little fuel at the front of the pack.

The race result stands at 54 laps rather than 56 after flag erroneously shown on lap 55. Hamilton still wins though. Obviously. Could you imagine the controversy if Ricciardo had passed Alonso on the last lap.

There was a lot of dodgy flag waving by the marshals today, they waved blue flags erroneously all the time too.

Vettel is looking somewhat, well, average, isn't he?

Amazing how exposed someone can look without by far the best car in the field 3 years running....

If that was honestly the case, it means Webber was utter shite as he couldn't come close to Vettel in the same car and we know that's not the case. It's just that some cars suit some driver's driving styles more than others and he'd taking a little longer to get used to the new set up.

Actually...

I think it was one of the recent editions of RaceCar Engineering that talked to/about Newey and it was pretty much said that Vettel's car was deliberately better than Webber's. RBR were doing things like investing the best tweaks in SV's car, ensuring KERS worked in SV's car etc.

We Aussies knew that from the start anyway. :P

They were talking about how Ricciardo is more used to the car moving around him and probably why he's doing better than Vettel.

Following on from that - SV had 4 years of awesomely aggressive aero derived downforce in his mean machines, and that is gone for the 2014 cars. Daniel has never driven a car with mega downforce, hence the ease at which he is zipping around this year vs. SV and his bitching and moaning.

SV's semi rude gesture when the Caterham went in front of him late in the race says a lot about his sportsmanship.

I love the way DR is driving and his attitude outside the car. It makes SV look like Mr Spoilt.

His radio comments are embarrassing. When he said to the team (last year) that Mark was so slow, get him out of the way (when MW was driving to plan as he had track position) I lost a lot of respect for him.

His conduct as a World Champion is also lacking. Saying the 2014 cars are now 'SH1T' in an interview and generally not showing respect for the sport that has served him so well recently has annoyed a lot of people. Including a few team leaders.
