patently
Fingers crossed for him. Wonder whether it was driver error or build error?
Andy_Bangle
Another one was crashed on a 'test drive' in Singapore : http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2014/6/16/Singapore-McLaren-650S-Spider-Crashes-on-Test-Drive-7720889/
PeterS
Right. That's it. I was just about to buy one, but if they keep crashing then I don't think I'll bother... ;-) But on a more serious note I do hope that both drivers make a full and speedy recovery

garcon magnifique
He could probably have bought a 650S for what it cost to rebuild his proper Macca.
patently
Yes, but... same price, 650S or Macca F1? I'd have the F1 every time
Tipex
Yes, but... same price, 650S or Macca F1? I'd have the F1 every time Hmm, tricky one that, the 650s is a 650s, but the F1 is an F1, I erm, think i'd take the 650s, or maybe the F1?
Rachel
Is it just me or is the UK vehicle on an unpaved back road? Testing the ride quality a little too exuberantly? Impaled on a fence has me worried to. Either he was unbelted (self induced problem) or he wasn't restrained properly in the vehicle - which is a very serious issue. CarMad
He could have rolled the car onto a fence thus impaling himself on it I suspect especially with it being an open top car it seems more plausible. As for the road it does appear a little strange why he went down there but maybe he just ended up there and the normal road is further away?!?! Andy_Bangle
The car left the road, went through a hedge and rolled into the fence (better pictures). http://www.sussex.police.uk/whats-happening/latest/news-stories/2014/06/20/driver-critical-in-duncton-crash Edited June 24, 2014 by Andy_Bangle
