In fact, the Caterham lives in the (integral) garage, which is accessed via a door from the utility room, and which has resilient tiling on the floor so I can walk out there whenever I want and tinker with stuff I'm not a fan of the open plan stuff either, when I'm watching TV, I don't want the noises and sight of washing up etc in the same room.
