chasdrury
Have you already sold the avus wheel that it was wrapped round?
Ian_C
Nope - just seeing if anyone wants the tyre separately. A lot of the B5 S4 gang who fit the B6 18s run 225s, the last person who made an offer only really wanted the wheel for their B5, so I am happy to split. Ian_C
Tyre advertised on Pistonheads. Cheapest new / unused 235/40 R18 listed. Cheaper than Joyroad, Winda, Linglong, Rotalla, Jinyu, Marshal, Nankang. Most of those I have never heard of! No, I'm not making them up! Cheapest 235/40 of any premium manufacturer is a Pirelli at £100.20. Cheapest Continental is £113.80. B6 Avus 18" alloy still available too - as above, I have a feeling the wheel might be easier to sell on its own than with a tyre in a size people might not want

cruiser647
Sounds like an eBay job to me Ian. S4 bods prefer the 225's? I wouldn't have suspected that.

B6 which is what the wheel is from, prefer (as it's the correct size) 235 which is the tyre Ian has.
Ian_C
That's it Chas. 225 on this wheel when fitted to a B5 reduces rubbing I hate ebay
