Anyone been watch the practise sessions? SB's race tomorrow at 11:00. This race never ceases to utterly amaze and astound me. Even before I got into motorbikes, it's a phenomenal feat of skill and precision. Seriously cool and seriously insane. Balls of titanium these guys. Hat off. Huge respect.

After weather has affected things in previous years (last year was bad, and a few years ago, the senior didn't happen at all) I'm glad the TT is slightly later - will be much better weather this week coming than the week just gone

I've been immersing myself in it. Love the event.

It's a very interesting year. No Guy Martin so no media distractions of "will this be the year?" and every one is flying. Dunlop appears ready after his good performance at the NW and all the big names are setting great times.

It's gonna be a fast and record breaking. I hope the weather holds and the "track" remains rubbered up. Last thing we want now is a reduction in grip levels.

Michael on another level.

You can say that again! He was on fire from the off. On board with Dunlop was insane. He has no fear. Absolutely incredible. Under 17 mins and more than 1 lap at over 133!! 6 laps is some endurance on those roads, and on those bikes. Personally, I love Crosby, Balla Scary and my favourite being the Mountain section. Shame for Rutter though. The BMWs are the business - sound phenomenal too, as do the Aprilias. Really looking forward to the SStock on Monday. A far more 'reachable' group for the average road rider; well, for me at least. McGuiness @ 44 and on the podium - superb.

I'm off for a ride  :grin:.......

I previously thought that he had no sense of life preservation as he would ride so hard the bike would be more out of shape than any of the others. Then he lost the weight and seemed to get more focussed and take it seriously ... but lost his edge.

It seems he may have got the balance right.

I'm sure a 134 is coming. I wonder if anyone can to 135, If so I see it standing for a long time due to it being rare to have these conditions

I know the 'track' is bumpy in places, but his bike was wobbling and shaking all over the place. He was pushing very hard. I agree; a 134 is coming, certainly possible given the weather like it was this week.

A proper police bike +++

Ha! £17k worth of Panigale. Difficult to say wether it's the S model, but I guess the public purse has to draw limits.

Just reading up on this year's Subaru lap. The figures are, if anything, more mind boggling than Michael Dunlop's outright record.

I wouldn't have thought it possible that you could get round quicker in a car than you can on a SuperSport bike ... (checks results) ... or rather could on a SSport bike until this morning... :o
