Gloss Black Grill

Opinions please. Would it look chavvy or good?

All the other trim on the car is gloss black except the grill .Would it suit a black grill to match the mirrors?

Chavvy.  Leave it as it is.  In my view, the black grille is just OTT no matter what model and I include the M3/4 in that.

The car looks fabulous and a black grille will just bring it down.

I quite like the black grille on some models, but on the 3 I think the shiny one enhances the design flow of the front end from headlights into grille.

Just found this image and it looks like someone has nicked the grill!

I thought it'd look a lot better than it does

That's what I mean.  It just doesn't work.  I don't think it works on any BMW and I always see a grille change as being a last resort if a brand introduces a model with a horrendous grille (for example, the mesh grille for Jaguars as opposed to the 'teeth' grille).  

I see far too many chavs driving BMW's with black grilles to want to change to that even if I thought it looked better.

I think the lack of lower fog lights don't help the black look either.
