cwmecklem Posted May 11, 2004 Report Share Posted May 11, 2004 The car has just 17k miles...the gas pedal is "sticky" and causes accelaration to be jerky. The pedal doesn't stick open--it returns to idel position just fine. I tried a few drops of penatrating oil on the piston on the back of the gas pedal that moves into the floor board--didn't help.
