Andrew
Been in my current job since leaving Uni 6 years ago. Progressed from lowly van driver to the Key Accounts Manager - responsible for 75% of turnover. Was given a new massive account in January to keep me busy bit it simply isn't. It is a piece of cake to run - I like to think this is down to my impeccable organisation skills ... ? Plus, my boss has really started to bug me and has done enough in the past 3 months so that I no longer respect him and everything he says I treat with contempt. Never had a new job so the thought is very scary. Do I a) assassinate my boss, b) set-up a window cleaning company to get a tan ....
Ritey
6 years experience at once place with progession and a degree backing, in my eyes would be a nice package for any other employer, if the boss is that bad and is getting worse could be because he/she is feeling threatend? No harm in looking around is there ??? Dave
s4_sat
have a word with your boss outside the office.this will either make him treat you differently or he will start trying to get it on with you.
shao_khan
Go for the change - its worth a change - will give you a new lease of life, and window cleaning this time of year is good, but plays havok with your knees.
Snail
Id have to vote assassinate the boss. Being from London, im sure you can get it done for less than a monkey, which you should then make back from your subsiquent promotion. That way you dont even need to go through the stress of job hunting.

SPLiiX
how about having a word with your Boss' Boss - He or she may have the same problem and your boss may not be there for much longer? also say to your Boss' Boss that you would like more work! no harm in that! And if they say you need to speak with your boss then just say that he is unaproachable. Do other members of staff think the same as you about him?
