dazmondo
I need to do something with my beast the carbon box under the bonnet sounds like its winding up to launch the shuttle, going back to the dealers before an induction kit is insalled. dazmondo
when i installed an induction kit on my audi quttro the fuel economywas fantasic, well acceptable anyway, before installation it was between 10-13 round town and 18-23 on a run, after install, 15-18 around town, on a run 22-28, vast improvement. Stokey
Hi I had this kit fitted to my R32 and its an easy install. You get a slight increase in induction roar which complements the Miltek exhaust note. The heat shield looks good and helps to keep the heat away from the filter. The filter is a K&N filter so this par of the product speaks for its self. On the preformance side it gave me 8 bhp more on its own. I had no issues with the product, and with the VW I have owned and mod`ed I`ve never had a issues with after market filters or induction kits. Its also easy to remove and put your VW air filter box back on for services ect Hope this helps mate Cheers Stokey
BigMeanBob
Thanks Stokey...glad someone finally owned up to having one... You have more than convinced me, and it will be getting strapped on in about a weeks time b0b

BigMeanBob
Actually gonna be a little delayed getting the thing installed.... Elephant (my insurance cop) won't let me get both an induction kit and the engine chip at the same time. Strangely enough, Admiral (the same company) would be happy to do both as long as the induction kit gives less than 5% power increase (in which case they will classify it as a non-standard air filter). My insurance with elephant runs out on 7.7.4 so I'll need to wait till then... Been chatting to a couple of guys in america that have the neuspeed kit installed....think you can expect about 5-6bhp... Think I'm gonna get engineer to install for me...apparently its real simple to do...but I can just see things going wrong. Slightly concerned as at least one guy had to modify the kit slightly to get it to fit (on a USA R32)...don't know if this applies to ours or not... I will keep ou updated...(with some photos too) b0b

FiftyPence
i fitted the carbonio kit myself and found it quite simple. You get full instructions with detailed pictures showing exactly what to do which makes life easy as a . The sound at average revs is incredible and you just wanna floor it 24/7 to hear that combination with the Milltek too. claimed BHP gains are around 6-10bhp but without a rolling roadage, i cant be absolutely sure.
