Ari
I think the S-line A4's look ace with those body kits, but saw this photo of a bodykitted A4 Cabrio and for me it just does not work. Some people critisised the S4 Cabrio for looking too much like the A4 Cabrio, but looking at this I'm glad they left well alone and restrained themselves to S4 wheels and badges. The A4 Cabrio is a shape hard to improve on I think...
Waylander
i have to disagree - i dont like the alloys but the shape looks fantastic IMO
Ari
You think? Fair enough. Prefer the standard car personally, looks "purer" and less adorned with unsuitable kit...
Phantom
Excellent choice of pic , if a cab is to be heavily modified externally (and non factory fit) then I think it looks best on a darker colour then at least you don't get to see the cr*p joins as shown in the lower front spoiler of the first pic. That sort of thing would really bug me but it seems to be second nature with the guys in the States. I have'nt said this before but I like silver because it highlights the design cues of the car particularly the crease line that goes from the top of the lights , front to rear. GCab
Ari you're clearly a secret silver addict, that (the lower one!) is the second pic tonight you've posted of MY cab (silver, black interior/hood, Diamond 6-spoke alloys) Thanks for my new Windows wallpaper, until I manage to take my own As for the 'Caractere' much beloved of the Yanks - it's pants. Just look at that front grille complete with buck-toothed Audi logo. Somebody should go to jail.

Phantom
So thats parking in front of a no parking area, parking on a grass verge, parking on a quay / promenade, bet you never get to use your parking sensors , or do you just prefer parking in big open spaces

Ari
I didn't think we could get S-line Cabrios in this country, is this a new thing?

Phantom
Yeah I think you are right, so how come Belgium gets the S-Line cab before the UK ? , may be its a special thing devised by a Belgian dealer ?
CabGirl
Audi probably know they can sell plenty of Cab's in the UK without adding the extra bits!

rmmacauley
Perhaps you could broker a deal between BMW and Audi whereby BMW handling experts could lend the Audi guys some expertise and the Audi people could contribute some styling input (in fact any styling input would be nice in light of what I saw yesterday - an X3 ). Ari
My car drives lovely. I'm sure that at the ragged edge of grip in a tyre screeching full on corner a BMW would feel much better, but why would a grown up (as opposed to a motoring journalist) want to drive like that...? Most odd behaviour...

rmmacauley
Yes I agree - I think the Audi handling is fine , the thing which bugs me is that in the motoring press Audi cars are criticised time and time again for poor handling , which I think is grossly unfair.
