Crusoe
Picked mine up yesterday, very pleased (one of the first delivered in scotland so no chance of a test drive first which i probably wouldn't recomend but worked out fine) Loving the larger turbo old fashioned lag and full boost which really picks you up and throws you forward, done 200 miles since yesterday so it's loosening up a bit but still keeping it below 3000rpm or so and can only get better. Economy has averaged 45mpg so far and seems to be climbing too. Was expecting to miss the acceleratoin of the S2000 but this is faster in gear and not much slower off the line with much more shove in the back which makes it feel quicker. Figures from the recent autoexpress test show the real figures verses the mini cooper s it was tested against, they even said the in gear times for 3rd to 5th were quicker than the GT3 they tested last year figures: 0-60mph Cupra - 6.8 Mini - 7.1 30-70mph Cupra - 6.4 Mini - 6.4 30-50 3rd Cupra - 3.0 Mini - 4.2 40-60 4th Cupra - 4 Mini - 5.5 this car has serious pace and i'm more than happy for now. Nice touches i've noticed so far include, a full size 17" alloy wheel spare (none of that foam or space saver malarkey), a proper slow speed intermittent that you can adjust to wipe about once a minute (first car i've had that has a properly slow speed for Scottish misty drizzle), and the brakes are great. On the down side the dash plastics are a bit hard, suspension can be a bit crashy as though the wheels are a bit heavy but it doesn't hurt the handling too much, and the stereo doesn't like MP3 CDR disks, only minor stuff though. REAR SIDE WHEEL, TYRE & NICE BRAKES FRONT FRONT/ABOVE INTERIOR FRONT 3/4 LIGHTS & SILVER MESH

Mollox
Interesting Looks good. I fancy a go, so just emailed my local dealer about a Test drive. Hopefully they should do better than my local Alfa Dealer who i emailed about a GTA and haven't had a response from....FIVE months ago!
Crusoe
take your stop watch and do some performance figures, don't want to rag mine yet but a demonstrator might be nicely run in. No quarter mile or 0-100 figures out yet so give it a go

Crusoe
have a go, probably a decent improvement over your bora performance wise unless you've aready revo'd it, ride isn't really very family frendly though had a derv octavia for a few months when they first came out so i don't mind a bit of the black stuff. Cupramax
Looks nice mate, I can see lots of curbing problems coming with those wheels though, why on earth have the domed them out rather than increasing the offset???
Crusoe
Needs to be out there to clear the callipers on the front (only 5mm or so gap), I’d imagine the tyres would be outside the arches if the offset was increased though so it probably saved them fitting wider wings.
