russellfray
Maybe the women just assume that because you've got kids you will be married, and hence aren't trying to chat them up and they can talk to you knowing that you won't be trying it on? When any lady caught me looking they'ed take one look at me then my sister followed by my niece and the evil stare to follow is quite something ...Is pretty similar..Scary stuff. Probably. Rachel
Buy a Malamute pup - and walk it with a harness (not a collar). Those big soft furry faces and liquid brown eyes...

Rachel
Why a harness? It doesn't hurt the dog if they pull too hard - and it makes them easier to control. You have to remember, these guys are bred to pull hard and long (like some people in TSN!) when hitched to a sled. Also - people patting, scratching or ruffling the mutt's head don't get themselves tangled in the collar/leash. My first experience of the power in a big Malamute was when I was visiting an old work associate who is a world class inline skating coach (and taught me to skate). He had his dog tied to to a tree in the local park. His daughter was playing on the swings/jungle jim and started squealing (in fun). Next thing we know - the dog is off to go to her aid, towing this small tree he'd just yanked clean out of the ground. The dog was 90kg in his prime and his eldest son is just on 105kg - so you get the idea of how big and strong they can get.
Rachel
Oh - and you should try rollerblading behind one when its in harness. Woo Hoo!

Rachel
Tolerance my boy - if you ignore them they go away. If not - send the boys around to improve their manners... The silly that posted that lewd question deserves to get flamed I'd say. Inappropriate language that could cause offence if, of course, anything they said was noteworthy enough to be recognised as offensive assuming anyone recognised they had actually said anything. I might have been offended but he obviously knows so little about real cars that he thinks tricks he can do in his pedal cart can be done in the real world. Jez
I think Rachel is onto a good point there, an Alaskan Malamute or any cute dog would be a good pulling tool, slightly hard work but less that a baby !
