muskie
i have been on to VW Uk so that they can locate a new set of front mats. Bad luck guys you cant get them with the R logo on them. they offered me a new plain set FOC. also bad news, the clips that hold them in have broken off, to put them back on, the local dealers have said they need the car in for a day so they can take the seats and carpets out, to fit them. all under warrenty of course any other ideas??? mb
The dealer had somehow lost one of my mats and I tried Autostyle - they won't touch them due to copyright of the logo. I also tried VWCS who confirmed they couldn't get any either. Perhaps we need to petition VW to allow Autostyle to use the R Logo for genuine R cars ? dcurrie
In the US, according to folks on Vortex the dealers gave most buyers the option of whether to install the rear clips or not. Seems most of us are hanging loose back there, so to speak. Here's a link to R catalog in the U.S. including R mats. http://public.fotki.com/ttigg/car_stuff/my_cars/vw_golf_r32/r32_dealer_accessor/r32_dealer_accessor-7.html DC
Markallain
I bought some carpet mats but these have round holes and don't fit the oval clips. Does anyone have the part numbers for plain mats which have the holes which fit the oval clips?
