Well - I'd take a different tact. Stage 1 but no stage 2 - a new car shouldn't need a polish just yet but giving it a good clean with Stage 1 to me wouldn't be too much of a problem would it?

I did this with my car last week when I picked it up - had to give it a Stage 1 as the garage had left some white staining on the roof ( confused.gif ) then a good coating of gold class wax. No stage 2 required as it was looking the business after stage 1 grin.gif

Well, stage 2 is to give it a deep wetlook shine. The name 'polish' may be a bit confusing. It's actually the cleaner that's doing more polishing/cleaning imho. So the polish is just an additional shine really. Therefore good on any car. The cleaner is only needed if the paint is a bit dull or something. To lift dirt the clay bar system is very good.

For a 2 year old car that still looks mint (apart from the odd stone chip) :

- Wash every other week

- Stage one : Twice a year

- Stage two : Once ever (although have used Gold Class Waxx) in 2 years

- Stage three Every couple of months

The only time I used polish (pro range) I couldn't tell the difference and that's on a black where its supposed to have the biggest effect.
