RS4_Barry
Got my RS6 back yesterday after having the abt ecu and gearbox rechip........ wow! Talk about chalk and cheese, I mean the car was quick as standard but holy [censored] I can't even describe it now! When you bury the peddle it just pushes you right back into the recaro seats and doesn't stop. Driving it back home yesterday it accelerated like a jet plane right up to 170mph with ease ( on my own private test track of course ) and it would have kept going with out a doubt! It never seems to run out of steam! I was a little worried at first bout abt as I know people that have used them before and their cars never quite made the quoted figures. I was assured that because this product was researched and designed in house with Quattro GMBH that it was pretty much guaranteed to do what it says on the tin nless there was a problem with my car. I also had the milltek full system fitted (not the crappy back box only system that was launched at the autosport show) which IMO is excellent, last milltek system I had on my RS4 was a little ropey and didn't fit quite perfectly but the RS6 system is 101% and the hand finished tailpipes look fantastic; oh and the sound is awesome. It emmits a lovely deep V8 burbble which turns to a glorious muscle car roar under acceleration, but is by no means too loud or intrusive. I seem to have gained a little power with the exhaust too as the car dyno'd at 515bhp with 659 Nm. Might go for the sports cats next but not sure as it's a huge job on the RS6 as the engine has to come out.... But in general well happy!

RS4_Barry
I'd say it's quicker than the evo in a straight line (but not in the twisty bits) and I'd even say that up to 80/90 mph it's quicker than the porker

RS4_Barry
Nope not much louder but deeper - really sounds the biz plus the hand made tailpipes with the etched milltek logo on them are ace!
Dave
That's good.. I like to keep it subtle Some milltek systems are like concord.. fine if you like that sort of thing, but I still have to carry my family around occasionally It's sounding really good!!. What's the news on the gearbox chip.. does it make uch difference.. does it work on all setting or just 'S'? Cheers Dave
