richyboy
Will it make any differance to 150 A3t?
Bushy
right just so you know your car was designed to run on 98RON fuel to give the outputs quoted It is my understanding that if you use say normal unleaded this is 95RON you willget an apprx 4% power loss, therefore by using Shell Optimax you would be running the car as designed. With Millers Octane booster you get a further 1.5-2RON meaning you are alledgedly running on 100RON, giving an estimate 2% power increase You also get improved efficiency, well that is what i have found A good tip is that the ECU may take up to say 5 tanks of fuel to adjust correctly to these settings so a one bottle trial may not make a big difference Hope this helps
SteveCab
so is that the same story for all Audis? How much do you put in, a whole bottle at every fill up? How much is in a bottle? Surely everyone has different tank sizes depending on car model. How much do these normally sell for and what discount are you offering for qty? cheers
Dave
One bottle goes with 50 litres of fuel.. so you put in 50 litres with one bottle or : My tank is 82 litres so I use two with normal unleaded or one with super.. Each bottle in the high street costs around £2.99. Steve does them for around £2.00 each Dave
SteveCab
i see, so you lot just drive around with a box full of highly flammable liquid in the back, or just carry around one bottle at a time?! Do you really notice the difference or is it more of a placebo effect you get?!
DuncS3
I carry one bottle at a time, in my Audi oil bottle holder in the boot But my refueling is pretty much once a week... TBH not sure if it makes a difference, but what the heck...
DuncS3
Ps - I normally run my car down to the refuel warning, then stick one bottle in and fill up - thats normally around 54 litres Dave thats a big old tank you have there mate

richyboy
So how do I order? Only fill up about once a month! 10 bottles would last about a year for me.....unless I fill the car up on pure Millars
