Hang on.... btw, i'm a 20 something single girlie. Please go and offer more help and advice in my thread
NewNiceMrMe
WTF01, you know we all you.... But...you included a poll. So a lot of users merely made a vote. If you total the figures you got a lot of attention ya know! In fact, probably more unique posts than FG. She is a little gem mind you, I confess. flibbertygibbert
Morning all... the plot thickens. Mate of mine has just bought a new 1 series for his girlf. It's a 120d sport. Interesting story..he had one ordered for delivery just before xmas with a few xtras £24,000 and he got a call about 6 weeks ago to say that someone had bought the exact same car kept it for 2 weeks and sold it back to the dealer for cash in a bit of a money laundering scheme we think. Just 600 miles on the clock and he got the chance at it and paid £20,000.. so all in all he's happy. Any way saw it last night...and at the risk of starting up the whole 1 series debate again..I really think I like it. Was suprised at the space inside..more than I thought. Wasn't sure at start but it has grown on me big style. I know it's overpriced (fecked if I care when its a company car) but for the same money as a new 3 i could get a sport one of these with decent wheels and lots of little extras. Going for a test drive when i sober up .. will take the new dig camera that Santa brought and if you like put up a few pics.. mind you I'm not much of a photographer and I can't guarantee how clean it will be. RossG
120d Sport is a nice car. I had a long test drive and a skid pan session in one at the BMW launch. Liked it a lot. IMO its also pretty distictive looking, and on the right wheels not at all ugly. Goes pretty well too. I actually like it - and would probably choose it over a less well specced 3 series. If you like the drive, then go for it - its something a bit different

I mean, you wouldn't buy a 1-Series with your own cash would you! Mollox
The one thing about the 1 series I didn't quite realise from seeing them on the road is just how high-roofed and slightly van-like they are. It was only when there was one in our car park next to my S3 that it really struck me. It really is quite an odd shape.

[/ QUOTE ] NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, after seeing your pic in the gallery, you have just ruined any idea I had of you being lovely! DONT DO IT! It should be made an arrestable offence to buy a 1 series! My arrest rate would soar!
sayerbloke
All the reviews I`ve seen say they are great to drive. And whilst driving them you wouldn't have to look at them from the outside

NewNiceMrMe
FlibbertyG. will hate me for saying this - but I would have no objection to being seen in one, just as long as she was in it too! As a girl who speaks her mind I'm sure that will draw daggers but she knows me well enough to go easy on me on I hope.
flibbertygibbert
1 series - drove it yesterday, like it. FYI Have built myself a 1 on the beemer website for £24805, with a LOT of extras. New 320d SE £24217. But it comes with some of the extras that I put on the 1.
