mulkbear
I am going on a training course and my company has to give me a car to use to get there (Newcastle to Miton keynes on bank holiday monday ) There was 3 cars to choose from, Polo GT Tdi (but with no head unit), Golf GTI (DSG) OR A Golf 1.6 FSI. So i got very excided thinking i was getting the brand new gti (15miles on the clock). But my service manager said F*CKING NO WAY Becose i drive to fast. So i got the GOLF FSI did i take the right car?
Ritey
Simply, no, the polo probably has the same top end, and much better torque being a soot chucker, power to weight would be better. Parking would be easier. Cornering would probably be better and you would have got to listen to that beautiful exahust note
shao_khan
So best drag the training course out and come along to the MK meet on Wednesday.

FiftyPence
youre a typical vw techie bloke!! When i take my R32 into the dealer for its service i wonder if theyll let me stand and watch all day to make sure no little toe rag takes it for a serious burn around the island. Thought it was only South Coast dealers that had mental, "drive-like-it-ain't-yours" techies...
shao_khan
I think you will find it is any main dealer that doesnt need to worry too much about repeat business, in general they have a sown up market so people will continue to go there - service and quality are secondary issues. mulkbear
I am not aloud to work on r32's until i am 23 years old and i would never do that in a customers car Just a thought why not try it with a loan car while you car is being repaired/service/butcher'ed
