mb Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 Hello, I am making a quick HTML page of a party and want to put some of teh lettering in Greek. I have created the lettering using the symbol option in word but now need to convert it into something that will display in html. Can anyone suggest how to convert the word file into either an image or something that will display in html (guess there will be a font issue this way) I have tried the word save as html page option but this doesn't work so any suggestions would be gratefully received ! s4dreamer Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 The HTML page output by word should contain something like the following: <font face=symbol>greek characters<font> This should display on most modern browsers - assuming that the computer has the symbol font available (which it should). kentzer Posted July 20, 2005 Report Share Posted July 20, 2005 If the Symbol font isn't available, then you may be better trying to sort out a jpg with the text in, and then display it at the right place.
