Mook
So I've been loaned a new model Polo as a courtesy car while my R is in being serviced. Compared to the outgoing model the build quality is fantastic - expensive plastics on the interior (well they feel expensive anyway!). Not bad as a second or even third car. You've got to try the (get this) ratchet action cup holder - pop it open, stick your cup/can/bottle/whatever in it, then press the holder back in and it clamps up to stop it from falling out. Reckon the Passat engineers have been having a go at the widgets in this thing. 1.4 TDI - 3 cylinder. No idea what the bhp is - pretty nippy for that sort of thing, but what a fantastic sound the engine makes when you wind it up! Reminds me of the original Ur-Quattro. I used to run a 2.5TDI Allroad and it sounds not far off this. Never thought I would see myself saying this, but good call VW!
loddrik
That's why I seem to drive our Polo more than the Alpina. Cheap, pretty darn nippy (1.9 TDi) and cheap as chips
DaddyDub
[ QUOTE ] 1.4 TDI - 3 cylinder. [/ QUOTE ] 70ps or 80ps depending but sounds like 80 from what you saying.

Mook
[ QUOTE ] Surely this isn't Breeze [/ QUOTE ] You need to book two weeks in advance and ask for a courtesy car. Get with the programme Jimmy! Nothing's ever easy with main VW stealers...
