Headerss
Hey, I have a 2002 A4, 2.4 and i am facing some difficulty when i want to start the car. THe starter is hitting perfectly since i recentky changed the battery, but it seems as if no command for the fuel to help start the vehicle. I keep on trying until it finally starts, it may take around 4-5 hits. Has anyone experienced this before?
Soapsuds
If a car (any!) fails to start easilly, always check the simple stuff first as 99% of the time, its these bits.... Leads, plugs, coil pack etc. If its got a FSH, it shouldnt be doing this! Diagnostic test will tell you more....
stratty31
sounds like a coolant temp sensor..you'll find it on the rear of the engine against the bulk head..it's a bit tight on a 2.4..remove the main air intake pipe to improve access. *******WARNING: DON'T TRY AND DO IT WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT...YOU WILL GET BURNED!!!!!*****
