Not all bad - but I am waiting to see what kind of service I get - all sales based, but will advise when all have been given ample opportunity to come back to me.

With the exception of one dealer in Northumberland, every VW dealer I have ever dealt with has had average after sales service (once they've got your down-payment) and anything from below average to apalling service departments. Big shame, because I like the (understated) brand, the build quality and the resale values.

VW are allegedly pulling their fingers out with an improved stance on customer service. We'll have to see.

For that to happen VW uk would need to care, and I dont see any evidence of that ever in dealing with them. We may see some posturing and verbose advertising but I doubt we will see action.

So a few initial reviews posted - in general the dealers with suitable stock obviously dont want to sell the cars to me, those without stock want me to go back when my requirements change, pretty average kind of service though particuallry for a 2 car sale. Nothing that screams "buy a VW because we care" anyway.
