spacelord
Probably around the same time the B7 cab gets introduced ...
Daz
Which will probably be some time early next year.
s3marc
Any ideas on what performance I can expect out of this engine in a cabrio? Tried emailing audi lea valley - good to see things never change with Audi , no answer as yet! ahhh how i miss that customer service.
chrisan
Since there has been no official information AFAIK on any aspect of the facelifted cab, it's impossible to say what performance and/or engines are even available. If you really need to know right now, check out the stat's on the saloons and avants. They aren't going to be a million miles apart. Chris
palexr
Well I can tell you that they ass of Friday (last) they are no longer taking orders for the cabs. I know because we put an order in on Saturday, only for them to phone on Monday to say "oops, can't take your order"!!! Anyway, having suddenly been told that there was a new facelifted model coming (he said there wasn't one coming on Friday) he now had enough info to tell us that it would be June for the new ones before they hit the showrooms. badbaz
Actually stopped taking orders the Monday before that - and apparently the B7 will be here in February
Braytak
Yep. I tried 2 days ago, spoke with the lovely steph at Cardiff Audi, she politely refused to contemplate an order before January 2006 as the facelifted model is due spring deliveries. She also let slip that the 2.0TFSI and the 3.2FSI will be included in the engine options along with DSG and minor changes to the interior, new front end and rear clusters and under tray. There will be biXenon and LED Rear Clusters on show also. I placed my spec' in her hand errHummm! 3.2 FSI Sline; QUattro; DSG; Sat Nav Plus;Heated Seats Bose; parking sensors; Bi Xenon/directional....Can't wait....Just another step towards the RS4 ME HOPES! Milo
I wish Audi would get their finger out and officially confirm the launch date etc. They must know by now and if they are declining orders for the B6 model what do they stand to lose by confirming the date? UBM
I asked the stealer I bought the avant from about the new cab. He said someting like Spring next year. I suspect it might be a little earlier than that.....
badbaz
[ QUOTE ] She also let slip that the 2.0TFSI and the 3.2FSI will be included in the engine options along with DSG [/ QUOTE ] Will DSG really be an option - can't see it! The current A4's don't have it - A4 engine config/bulkhead doesn't allow it! A3's engines are transverse and have room for DSG
