It is the first Smith book I have read and I think I had a lucky pick. River God is the first in the trilogy running before the 7th Scroll, will it be ruined as I read the 7th scroll first? lukemg Posted August 30, 2005 Report Share Posted August 30, 2005 Smith Rocks !! The man is a master, yeah I know it is commercial stuff but he can tell a story. Have introduced a few people to him and apart from the odd dud you can pick any. Birds of Prey (pirates etc) is a classic and you can read it out of sequence. Mate of mine never read books (prefer films he says) fired him birds of prey before holiday told him it's like a film that you never want to finish.
