My Baby's arrived...

Precab

Well after a weeks delay, I finally picked up my new cab this afternoon. After months of soul searching over the colour and spec, I’m very pleased with my choice. Dealer pic attached, and a couple more to follow.

Initial impressions:

- the ride is much better than I expected. Even on 18’s with the lower rider height, it’s still smooth with only the occasional really bad surface causing any problems. It corners flat and true, so overall, it’s a good compromise and there was no need to be concerned. I’m very pleased to see it came on P Zero’s as I’m a big fan of Pirelli. Surprised to see a full size spare in the boot.

- performance is good considering I haven’t really thrashed it. Once its on boost it really picks up nicely.

- the heated seats are a must. They really do warm you right through and I had to turn mine down to 2 because it was too hot (outside temp 16 degrees)

- the standard stereo is really good. The Bose might be better, but this is more than enough for me.

- the exterior colour is striking in the flesh and its nice to be different (am I the first on here with Alpaca?). Just need to keep it clean now. I’ve stocked up on Zaino Brothers so I’ll be giving it the full treatment next weekend.

- the black half lather seats are really comfy and, with the alu trim, the interior looks the dogs whatits.

- on the negative side the plastic trim behind the self dimming mirror that covers the wiring is loose and keeps working free smashfreakB.gif.

Hope you like the pics 169144-ok.gif.

Very nice indeed 169144-ok.gif

That colour makes it look very sleek and streamlined, somehow.

Can we see it with roof AND windows down, now ? smile.gif

Hehe.... and do you have a deflector ready for the winter too!

...although I often use the deflector up with windows down in summer too... gives a nice gentle breeze at speed without giving you ear ache 169144-ok.gif
