danksy
Does anyone know if the Xbox 360 will be compatible with my LCD monitor? It has one of those digital connection thingies on the base of it, along with a normal VGA input. Otherwise its the Sony 32" widescreen in the living room (which means I will never get to play the bugger). Or a crappy 14" telly, which has such a small screen it will be next to useless
Snail
Theres a VGA lead available for the 360 or component HD. If your LCD monitor supports 1280x780 and has a VGA input, id go for that.
danksy
Thanks Snail... From some gubbins with my monitor... [ QUOTE ] he NEC MultiSync® LCD1535VI measures 350x362x160 mm (WxHxD) and weighs a mere 4.8kg making it easy to position on any work-station. It also offers viewing angles of 150° horizontally and 110° vertically (at a contrast ratio of 10:1) generating excellent quality for both individual and multi-screen applications. A brightness level of up to 300cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 450:1 further endorses this quality. sRGB compatible, the new 15-inch has an impressive display with an optimum resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels at 75Hz and support for 16.77 million colours. A flexible analogue/digital DVI-I interface also distinguishes it from other members of NMD-UK's 15-inch portfolio. The monitor is equipped with an integral DDC-CI function, enabling system administrators to carry out remote diagnostics on the monitor settings in an existing network (LAN) and to make the necessary adjustments directly. An additional user benefit is the NaViSet™ software, which incorporates a graphical user interface based on the DDC-CI protocol and enables the monitor settings to be changed using the mouse and keyboard. [/ QUOTE ] Will the DVI-I of joy work with a 360? and do you know if you can get a DVI switching box, so I can switch between PC and Xbox?
