dq1
I heard the trade price of a MOT is £25, how can a garage (Tyre Factory in MK) charge £23.50 (£19.99 with an advert from the local paper) and hope to profit from it? Unless of course they 'find something wrong!'
Avus_Bub
There's a RRP for a MOT test (44.15) but the garage can charge what they like. These days a tech' has to clock on to the MOT computer system for at least an hour. So you wont get many large garages and dealerships doing half price - unless in with a service, maybe. In the good old days the only real overheads were buying the books and keeping the MOT inspector sweet......... BUB
