CarMad
I'm trying to get a pass out but Chris knows my situation and I can't say until closer to the date. I think there have been a quite a few meets recently, I have done the Cheshire and the Buxton meet which was very well attended, partly because it was close to a lot of people around the middle of the country. Will try my best but can't promise anything sorry, my other half needs me at the moment and she comes first.

shark_90
I'll be there wherever it's held and under whatever circumstances.. but can we do better than Burger King this time Chris?
Milo
Burger King wasn't the intended destination last time Both myself and Chris couldn't do the drive to Northumberland and Sunday lunch so we were only meant to stop for a coffee. Anyway, you seemed to enjoy the burgers

P_G
Chris, If we only end up with 10 or so cars and it looks like most apart from Shark are local; should we make it to Scotch Corner instead? Should be good for Jim Diesel and the Maranello boys of they're still up for it and good roads round there too.

shark_90
I'm going to be coming from Penrith, so Scotch Corner suits me better than anywhere! Then on for some lunch, and some twisties afterwards?
Daz
As this meet is the same weekend as the BBC's Children in Need how about having a bit of a charity event at the same time? How about MrMe in the stocks and people pay to thrown rotten tomatoes at him, for example? I'm sure it'll raise a load of money.

NewNiceMrMe
Oh haven't we all been having fun in here today whilst I've been busy! Now then boys and girls... If the meet numbers dwindle, then maybe we'll look at Scotch Corner a bit more. As for the stocks and tomatoes......well I think I'll give that one a miss thanks......but yes I'd be happy if we could try to raise a few quid whilst en route. Dunno how though. shark_90
We could always find the twat in the Range Rover Sport from the last run out, and throw tomatoes at him instead? What do you say Graeme?
RossG
[ QUOTE ] If the meet numbers dwindle, then maybe we'll look at Scotch Corner a bit more. [/ QUOTE ] Maybe move it a bit further north? I would make Scotch Corner - but it would be a very long day!! I'm not at all local - but what about somewhere in Northumbria - or even the Lake district. Don't mind going south in a day - or east in a day - but to go east then south is getting a bit tiring...! shark_90
Well I think I'm the only "southerner" out of the lot of us.. and I'm going to be in Penrith anyway. I'll fit in.
NewNiceMrMe
Sorry, that's right, I did say that in the event of cancellation we'd go more Northerly - Borders say. Anyway, lets wait and see. Fingers crossed.
jimdiesel
Fine by me. North is no problem (Not with an 80 Litre tank anyway). Why not Dunns and we can all go and pay our respects at the Jim Clarke rooms (if there open).
