I paid £500 for 4 discs, all the pads and the fitting!

They certainly make a big difference! 169144-ok.gif

Do you mind telling me where?

I'm running porsche discs and pads up front, but i'm having serious doubts about them.

I'm already on my second set of discs after the first lot warped after 2K miles (replaced under warranty).

I was told to run them in for 1000 miles to prevent warping as they were described as 'soft'! Well, i'm 1500 miles in and last night they definently were vibrating when braking.

I seriously think that they're not up to stopping such a big car. smashfreakB.gif

Crasher, are yours the upgrade brakes AMD offer?

Those Blackdiamond brakes look interesting and worth following up on!

[/ QUOTE ]

Yup.

Had them installed back in june, along with ebc redstuff's on the rear.

I may be being a tad unfair on them, but for the mileage I do (6 - 7 hundred a week on motorways) they should be up to the job. JUst think that they have to do a fair amount of work to stop the near-2-ton mota on their own (as the rears do naff all most of the time).

You bet! The brakes in our car were alway less than adequate. These are marginally better than adequate grin.gif

Stealer quoted me £820 for new all corners. £500/£300 parts labour. I have the tool to wind in the rear brake calliper too then fitted them myself...

PaulW's site has the fitting procedure.
