Yeah. It's £10 more than the factory option. So I've decided to give it a miss.

Truth be told, I wouldn't use it that often anyway.

My old Stilo had one, but I only ever used it on longer journeys where I didn't change gears. It got in the way, leaving it down all the time. But we went to Leeds today and the 1.5 hr cruise on the motorway made we wish for the arm rest and cruise control.

I quite like the extra S Line badges - were they an Ebay purchase?

The armrest is easy enough to fit so long as you have a long enough socket spanner. It's only really one bolt that keeps it in place, though you'd need some additional trim too (unless it comes supplied with it).

I only know this as when we bought our car the lid catch was broken and you can't just replace the catch, you have to replace the whole lid. Stupidly I thought the whole armrest had to come off, then realised (after I'd finally bought the requisite socket set) that all it needs is a flat baded screwdriver and a bit of brute force.
