Soapsuds
Hi- further to my recent post about installing my iPod link into my A4, i successfully (without damage!!) removed my left rear trim in the boot of the Avant to source the CD changer cable (13-pin) - guess what - it wasnt there!!!! Does anyone know if it might be living behind the glove box and if so, do i need to drop the glove-box out to find it?? I looked on the rear of my head unit (Concert II) and there is nothing obvious there - all the ISO sockets and 2 aerial-type connectors..... Please help!! This was supposed to be a simple job ! Daz
I think Audi stopped installing the cables without the CD changers back in 2001/2002. Obviously a cost saving measure. I guess you'll have to buy one. I guess Vagparts would be the cheapest.

Soapsuds
DW - thanks for the pics!!! I dont have an 'official' ice-link - its one from the sates (PAC Audio) that has the 13 pin connector to plug straight into the CD changer cable, usually in the boot! I will drop the gloevebox and double check behind there and then failing that, call VagParts as its not listed on their website.
