Bit childish really [/ QUOTE ] I'm not a cat person but that vid' makes me cringe A tech had a nasty shock at work on Monday. He was taking the undertray down on a car when quite a large dead cat fell out.............. Not nice at all. None of us had ever seen or heard about anything like it before. Can only think it had got run over (back leg poss broken) and crawled into the gap under the engine. For all you cat lovers , I did my bit and called the number on the tag and posted the collar to the (ex) owner. BUB

jimdiesel
To bring the thread back on topic. I had an A6 S-line with the colour DIS today. This is Audis latest low washer fluid graphic. Its quite cool as the wiper sweeps back and forth. Appologise for the pic but its off my XDA. Lets not stray off topic again but whether you like cats or not the world would be dull without animals. I am biased. I love cats, independent, unpredictable, huggable and big eyes. Like little Foxes.........

jimdiesel
[ QUOTE ] Back on topic (feckin cats! ) - what did you think of the loaner Jim? [/ QUOTE ] Not to sure what to make of it yet UBM. The S-line looks fantastic, but there is very little difference in the drive. There is alittle more road noise, but the handling is no better and if anything the car didnt seem to flow as well as my SE. There again the ride was not significantly worse either. I am just going through the 2006 model year pricelist now. Watch this space.

jimdiesel
I hate flaps. Engineers spend millions on wind tunnel time. And then people stick lumps of plastic under there cars!!!! Being a demo its got the full flaps, mats and tracker pack. £35K to me but I think id rather specify my own spec.
Sparky
Nice wheels on it though. Prefer the colour of yours mind, but still a nice looking car.

CH_Peter
[ QUOTE ] How stupid is that. I mean, look, I love the A4's DIS, but for the first time today it's low washer bottle water level light came on. Feck me. You'd think it was akin to engine failure. Firstly it's a bit oversized for a mere low water level warning isn't it! Particularly as it stays on! Secondly, and the bit I found most irritating, why the feck is it animated!!! It continues it's little annoying animation routine too. I wouldn't mind so much if it only ran for 5-10 seconds or whatever, but continually? It reminds me of: a) a little fountain in a garden pot or b) an upside-down space invader type character from a late 1970's arcade machine! Come on Audi, stop with the cheap graphics and just give a little warning light! Their DIS programmers were obviously short of things to do. [/ QUOTE ] I know I'm a newbie... but what on Earth is the matter with you? Flog the damn car if you hate every last little thing about it - as every post I seem to catch from you would suggest! Because there are more posts from me praising the A4 Avant than there are criticising it. It's a minor point, nothing more. Joyfest! It's a joyfest! See, Audi owners really ARE all a bit uptight....
