Big_Dan
Anyone got one? Cracking Prices Just wondering what they're like ...
Thorburn
Specs look nice, all have decent resolutions (1280x768 or 1366x768 depending on model) so they are fairly good even as a part time PC monitor as well as TV and have HDTV support. I've not used on myself but I remember hearing they are pretty good.
Big_Dan
I use a Dell 1905FP at home and work and it is supurb - so if the TVs are as good, I'll be ordering one!
CarMad
I have looked at them in the past and they are expensive compared to some Samsung / Philips rivals and were low on a few features. What size are you looking for ?
danksy
I don't think the prices are that good considering £1,000 gets a very nice Samsung Telly now
Gabster
I got one of these last week from Costco. £751.00 inc VAT its a Samsung LE32T51BX 32" LCD 16:9. 32" HD Ready 16:9 LCD Resolution 1,366 (H) x 768 (V) viewing angle 170°/170° 2 x 7.5 watts Nicam 10 page teletext 1 x DVI 1 x Component 2 x SCART 1 x D- sub PC input Just got to get a bracket to hang it from my bedroom wall. Got a Wega Sony CRT downstairs in the Lounge, picture is better on the Sony, but you need to spend some pretty serious money to get an identical picture quality LCD if there is one out there. Big_Dan
Just the 19" one. For £300 delivered, it seems to be a better buy than the larger ones. I suspect it's on runout. It seemed to be the equivalent price of a branded 17" widescreen. It's only for the kitchen afterall ...

Ritey
Don't that's what i'm contemplating but some reviews of it don't help the buyer
Big_Dan
They discount it again at the checkout with a free delivery voucher .... 19" is £240 delivered. Not sure the 26" will fit on my desk
CarMad
Good TV... but it got Analogue tuners.. they won't work in some areas in 2 years. No HDMI ports. But if that doesn't bother you its a great price.
Ritey
Is that true of the 26?
Big_Dan
OK, I've ordered one. I'll let you know how I get on! Analogue switch off is 2010 here and you can use HDMI over DVI, but as it's for the kitchen, I think it's a good price.

Sponge
Are the 19" models still available? I couldn't find them on their website.
CarMad
Doh... looks like they have sold all the 19" and 26" they had left for a bargain price. I can't find them on the Dell site now either. Ah well will have to keep saving for the Samsung panel then. I wanted the on and off timer anyway cause I like waking up to the TV in the morning.. oh and its a great panel and has a digital tuner in it. Big_Dan
I think we had the last of 'em. Mine has shipped - should be here tomorrow, which is great, except it's coming to work and I've got the day off ... d'oh!
Ari
Bugger, guess I'm too late then. Ah well, if Dell are doing them for this then others will be soon. Sure I'll pick something up in the January sales.
CarMad
I think Dell with bring out new models next year. The current ones weren't bad but newer better tech has been released by rivals. Think I'm going to see what the sales bring as well.
