Soapsuds
[ QUOTE ] Halfords do I fitting service I think - buy the bulbs from them (they often have buy one, get one free) and get them to fit them for £5 (IIRC). [/ QUOTE ] You serious!!??? 1. Buy bulbs from halfrauds = V. Expensive - use powerbulbs (awesome fast overnight service if you order before 4pm) 2. You would let a monkey from there fiddle with your car!!?? I wouldnt...... Get your blinking hands dirty - its the only way you will learn!! Sparky
Don't be daft. He can't slag Audi off as much if he had some french crap on his driveway.
CarMad
I fitted some new bulbs to the A4 when I had it and they made a bid difference. However it wasn't an easy job with a 2.5 TDI engine in the way. I had a few knuckles that didn't have blood pooring out of them I think. It wasn't an easy job but it is doable. NewNiceMrMe
Look, buggers, I don't care how much they are (within reason) as the company will be paying. I just want to know that if I go to an Audi dealer and say "My headlamps are sh1te, I need brighter bulbs" that they'll be able to sort the job out for, say, less than £100? Durrsaku
I will do it for £50.

[/ QUOTE ] Chris - They will tell you to feck off. They will only used Audi Approved parts and nothing else, in case the bulbs fail or cause damage. I asked them to put my Philips W5W sidelight bulbs in and they refused for this reason. It is an easy job to do. As you should have seen from my review a few weeks ago, either the Osram SilverStars ot the Philips GT150 Power2night are the way to go. They really are easy to change - if I can do it, I'm sure you can!
