Sparky
I think that's a good price for the spec. Great colour too, but might be tempted to change the wheels at some stage.

Redavant
That is a cracking price! Like sparky says, change the wheels and it will be spot on.
Smiddy
I must admit the 18" 9 spokes would look better or the 18" 5 arm sline wheels
Sparky
Or a set of RS4 reps. Everyone sticks the 9 spokes on it. Be different! Nah, it looks good. I think the Brill Red is a striking colour. I still get a lot of nice comments about the colour of mine. When it's clean
Smiddy
How about some chrome RS4 reps I bet it shows the dirt nicely , mind you so does my A6 when they salt the roads Pic
UBM
Yep - Very good price. There are still some 1.9TDI GmbH Sports going for more than that! Go for it - but change the wheels!
Smiddy
yes I did notice there were quite a few higher priced then that one that were the old shape 1.9TDI may just have to move the my budget a little bit

Al_H
[ QUOTE ] what things do you get with the s-line package? [/ QUOTE ] You get the bigger wheels, S Line badges, electric lumbar support for seats, alu trim inside and alu side strips outside and the S Line suspension. I personally wouldnt get any A4 unless it was S Line. The only thing i would object to on your chosen A4 is those wheels they just dont work for me. SJC1975
You can buy an 06 model 2.0 Tdi S-line for less than £22,000 if you search the web! Not to sure about p/e though
Milo
Newcastle Audi were offering new unregistered Tdi s-line saloons for around £22k as well - no idea what the spec was mind.

Smiddy
It was gonna be around the 18k mark but after having a better look around I think I might make it a bit more
Al_H
if you want a B7 S Line then yep you will need more. Most red cars can be got for 20k ish, quite abit higher for other colours. Reds great anyway
Smiddy
Just been looking at the audi network at a4 and alot of them are the same sepc and price for the same colour car for instance there the pritty much the same car at a different dealer thats got the same spec as the one I first posted about but for £1k more but its done few less miles. I think the something like the one I posted at the start would last me a couple of years before I want to get rid of it I have had the A6 for getting on a year and doing between 20 and 30k a year I want to get rid of it already so I dont loose too much on it, getting something with 10k on the clock would probably last me an extra year before I want to sell it and get another one, so the few extra ££ would be worth it. Al_H
Id say go for it, have u test drive the 2.0 TDI yet?
Smiddy
yes I had one last tuesday allday while the A6 was in for its service wasnt an SLine though but was a 55 plate A4 2.0TDI manual avant I wasnt so sure about going back to a manual but it was alright, did about 100 miles in it, seemd nice to drive very lively when you want it to be, I thought the 2.0TDI would seem a bit noisy and not as smooth as the A6 i got at the moment but it was fairly quiet not as noisy as the 1.9TDI I used to have and was still fairly smooth. Al_H
they are meant to loosen up at around 9/10k. Good luck with your next car purchase.
