Decked Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 I have a Milltek exhaust on my R and every now and again i get a fault come up on my dash. Every time i need to go into my VW dealer to have it turned off. Anyone got any idea if a Vag-Com would be able to reset this? If so would one of the cheap ones off ebay work? Decked Posted January 9, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 I have got VAG-COM Release 512-1 from the Ross-tech website, I'm presuming this is the full version? What connector do you have from the PC to diagnostics port? I ideally would like USB to whatever that port is called if possible. You have the latest version, but if you havent paid for it, or havent got an official lead that "unlocks" it, it will be the shareware version. If your after a lead, vagcom compatible and Usb, then i would suggest speaking to Sk on here. www.skpang.co.uk if you mention Tyresmoke, I think there may even be a discount.
