Alastair_A3
Milo found it on some numberplate website, RAC say the plate is on a 2003 Jag XJR.
RedRobin
Well, at least this whole saga provided a strange kind of entertainment. On the other hand it also feels as if someone has been acting very invasively and that's to be rightly stamped on imo. About how often does this kind of thing happen? Once or twice a year? Ari
The MC Jag was posted (presumably by the real owner) on a registration plate site. McC copied it, scratched out the numbers and claimed it was his brand new car. However certain TSN members found the original pic, complete with number, and a quick reg search revealed that the supposed brand new Jag was in fact a 2003 car. Add that to a complete lack of photos of any of the other "fleet" of limos and a few other inconsistencies...
MOSE
So its possible it could be legit then?? Its just the "I bought an XJR for £63k new" that could be

RedRobin
It has to be said that if any of us were mccombie and we were faced with all these posts and in truth we (as mcc) were genuine, wouldn't each one of us want to immediately respond and prove beyond any doubt that we were in fact genuine? I know that if I was being challenged like this I would actually want to meet at least one Moderator face to face and try to show the truth of my claims etc.

There is irrefutable evidence that the picture is a lot older than last Friday which was when he picked up his new £63k Jag.

Milo
I have been wondering how the diligent TSNer came up with the registration number. They said it was by trawling through one of the countless posts they found by mccombie on the internet where he mentioned a plate that was on his Range Rover. But that would have taken ages so how did they find the time to read all those posts? [ QUOTE ] The funny thing is, I was up all night with the runs. That's how I ended up spending the night reading through this idiots posts. Kind of ironic [/ QUOTE ]
