fjfr
Why was that? Was it too expensive, or not fast enough? PS. Black RS6 Saloon spotted in Glasgow tonite
P_G
Probably because the RS6 was so much better a car and not that much more expensive to buy.
peterb
Despite the S6 being available more than two years before the RS!
P_G
True but I believe when the S6 was launched / out it had already been leaked the RS was on it's way?
garcon magnifique
Looked at an S6 a while back at SKF in Stockport. It was in the showroom, yet they hadn't properly prepped it (beyond a jetwash). It was a tired car, 60k plus miles, clearly run by a careless company car driver - dings and scratches, scuffed alloys, paint laquer was going in a couple of places too. And Noggy Blue doesn't half look LOUD on a car that size! I was going to walk anyway, so only asked about money to see what they might do - SKF wanted top end money for it and didn't seem to want to deal. At all. Suffice to say we left smirking and promising to have another look at it in six months time...
Ian_C
[ QUOTE ] There were only approx 240 S6's sold in the uk, so they are rarer than dodo poo. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, only 240? Find it hard to belive that few sold in the UK. Cracking Q machines. Ian
