Paul
beep on alarm is easily coded with vagcom, its described below on Waks site a friend of mine. No point me reinventing the wheel, when its so well documented. (These are Vagcom instuctions , not dealer! ) www.wak-tt.com/vagcom/vagcomclcoding.htm as for your washer trick, no idea. Maybe search www.ross-tech.com/index.html as for wether your dealer will do it free, thats really is a lottery question, and down to your relationship with them. Vag-com lead for your B7 A4 will have to be a newer Canbus one , if your going to buy one at any time. They changed the communication method on the later cars. DanG
I actually had a dealer tell me that if they changed any settings using VAGCOM it would invalidate the warranty on the vehicle. I actually laughed at him to his face. So good luck and try a few different dealers.....

craigyb
The A6 All Road is identical to your car. I have a little utility you can use to work out what options are currently enabled/disabled and generate a new number to reprogramme the options.
