AntW
Just cleaned the car and one splodge of poo thats only been on a day has left a mark on the paintwork It has left a very faint orange peel effect - noticeable in certain light? What's the best way of getting back to normal, a bit of ScratchX or something else?
drpellypo
This is why I always have some quick detailer in the car and a MF cloth. Bird poo is acidic and can do serious damage. The second I notice any it's out with the QD, and it's wiped off. Scratch X might do the trick. It's worth a try first anyway, as it's the least abrasive of the scratch removal products. AntW
I am normally the same, but for some reason a bit near the fuel cap was missed
AntW
Just an update on this. Got myself a clay bar over the weekend and thought I would give it a quick try to see if it could get rid of the mark before doing other parts of the car. It got rid of it perfectly
