bells0
Hey all My wheel are pretty knackered on the inside - whoever had the car for the very short 9 months before me didnt clean it at all! It is pitted to hell. So - do i spend a few quid and get them refurbed, or take them off and have a go myself - orrrr - look at some 18in repro's?? They seem pretty cheap from what i have seen on recent links - what's the main difference over OEM - they weigh twice as much?? Cheers
Scotty
Replicas vary. It's like saying is a t-shirt better than a Next one. It depends on the t-shirt. My reps weigh less than OEM (only by 1lb) but others do go heavier. There's very good and very bad. You have to be careful.
M20str
Having just been thru this. I found some nearly new OEM 9 spokes with Continentals on that had only done 1k miles on www-Audi-sport.net for a VERY VERY good price that I arranged the sale with a with the chap and we used a ebay and paypal to complete. They cost me less than new reps with half decent tyres. I would rather (not a rule) if I can go with OEMS. There are some good deals out there. There are some OK OEM RS6s on there at the moment . See here Linky They may have sold now. The chap seemed a good bloke when I talked to him last weekend. Cheers Mike
