Ari
Good to know that there are some people with no interest in fripperies on their boats. No cabin, no cooker, no toilet, nothing. Just the single minded pursuit of going really really fast! Spotted down at the marina this afternoon:-

DanG
The Saltwater 2 Stroke series has a host of internal features designed to increase the life expectancy when used in salt water. Basically the cooling system is lined with stainless steel or some similar alloy so it wont oxidise quite so quickly. I think it also has some zinc annodes inside..... I think these are for people who leave their boat in slat water and dont flush the engine often.... Interesting props on those outboards too by the looks of things......... DanG
Also in the States (as always!) everything has to be done bigger and better. For the last two years, it was not uncommon to see 'Centre Console' fishing boats with three 200hp+ outboards. However, seen in the Keys a couple of weeks ago was a 27 foot CC off shore fishing boat with 4 200hp Yamaha engines on it..... with the additional weight of both engine and fuel, you will only gain say 5mph top speed.... but I suppose in a country where gas is $3 a gallon, you just dont care! Ari
I bet that sounds absolutely awesome on full chat! Fear the fuel consumption though...
