stevej69 Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 Am i right in thinking that the R on the fuel gauge means reserve? if so how big is it? i would hazard a guess for about 4 litres, given that when i have 0 miles showing on my Dis i can usually get about 62 litres in the tank and i believe the tank has a 66 litre capacity. Nelson_R32 Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 The R on the fuel gauge stands for Refuel The Fuel warning light will come on when you have approximating 12 litres left in the tank. (offically 10 but they have to under-read for obvious reasons) The Quattro B6 A4 has a 60 litre tank capacity, so the extra 2 litres your getting in will be going into the fuel filler neck.
