Tarmac_Terrorist
It's now less than 2 days to go until I collect my GTI. Without going over too much old ground, is my understanding correct on the following issues (which have been debated to death I know): 1. I should without question have the bottle opener included as it is definite part of the specification. 2. May or may not have leather style GTI handbook folder - some do & some don't just lucky if they do. 3. Top up oil - again 'a bonus' if this is included but not a certainty, more of a dealer 'goodwill' gesture. Have I forgotten anything?
petsy
you only get the bottle opener if you've ordered the armrest. you don't always get some topup oil.

Tarmac_Terrorist
Good point stevie_d - although I've already bought some Richbrook ones with spinning shrouds which are 'supposed' to be a bit more thieving pikey & b@stard chav proof

[/ QUOTE ] You misunderstand the importance of the holy bottle opener my friend. Without it I would have been beerless for the past week TT> Obviously do the general things of checking the car over for damage, check that your options are all present and fully operational. Have a look to see if they've taken the transport blocks out from the springs, they sometimes forget this which is pretty worrying tbh
trentender
Ensure that you look down both sides for damage and ripples, as I know from experience that car's are often damaged on the transporter and not noticed by those caring dealers..........Always look from the rear of the car and pick a fixed reflection to follow as you move away from the vehicle......... Have a great day and treasure the memory..
